where do these celebrity blogs get their pictures?

    where do these celebrity blogs get their pictures?

    there are a ton of them out there, some huge ones like tmz and perez, and tons and tons of smaller ones

    just curious where and how they get the images for their sites? do they pay for rights or is there a free source of promotional material being released? or do they just fly by the seat of the pants and not ask, or is there a legal out if you use (borrow/steal) pictures for news?

    how do they do it?

                  the few huge ones are all legit - they pay for the pics/own copyright etc, the rest steal the pics - plain and simple

                      tmz has HUNDREDS of photographers all around the world that take pics for them

                      perez just steals from places like tmz, haha

                          btw, all those paparazzi you see surrounding celebs are all pretty much freelance, they take their pics/video and then sell to the highest bidder

                          so, when you hear a place say "tmz cameras just happened to be on hand for...." it means tmz got offered some exclusive footage and bought it, so they can claim it was "their" photographer on hand
