Revshare VS PPs - Sex industries against webmasters!?

Have you noticed that more and more sex industries are raising pps (pay per signup) revenues!?

Everytime a webmaster chose to promote an affiliation in this way he receives a ONE TIME high payout. Then The customer referred by webmasters belong to the sex industry FOREVER. That means All its recurring sales are cashed by the company.

My advice about that is to chose REVSHARE, usually lifetime or cookie based. You will receive your % revenue for recurring sale and raise your earnings..

Isn't that better?

Depend.
I hope PPS is better for general porn .. and Revshare just for some top cam sites who have a good retention.

I'm sure the PPS is the best so you receive one time payout and after you will never miss other recurring sales.

To be honest i have a sponsor where i sent over 300 members registered with a valid cc. There is a lifetime revshare.
I make some money only with the fresh members the old members don't bought again after the first times.

So i hope the PPS is better sometime.

I have always wondered which is better. I do almost all Revshare for porn sites and cam sites and pps for dating. Maybe I am missing something.

I have been saying this for years BUT you need to promote the right site ;)

When you find a site that can retain well then you can make more per sale AND not abuse surfers with pop ups and low trial prices that rebill at very high rates. If you run a high traffic free site with alot of bookmark traffic then I would not suggest sending your loyal visitors to these type of sites.

I like ftv. They have a solid site if you want to promote a non hardcore site. I recommend ftv to my members and it is one of the best recurring sites that I promote to my members.

Sites like mine, ftv, twistys, and some others work so hard to retain members and we do retain them

i think it has something to do with competition too.
program A offers $50 PPS, program B offers $35, then an affiliate came to program B, and demand higher PPS or he/she won't promote program B.
the whole PPS higher and higher is due to competition in getting affiliates.
just face it, affiliate program is nothing without its affiliates.

for some of the sites tho, affiliate can make more money on RevShare.. usually cam sites, dating sties, and exclusive paysites like solo sites and more.

in our case, we give our affiliates options on which program they can promote. They can even test if they do better on PPS or on RevShare.

For anyone interested in learning all this, hit me up i'd be more than happy to work with ya.

What works for one person is not necessarily going to work for someone else. Revshare like AK mentioned is good for some and not for others. The best way to combat this dilemma is to offer your affiliates both options which is what I do and many others do as well.

I think little niche sites like ours work great with revshare. PPS has always been good for more generic sites but if the surfers into something less mainstream you can make way more with revshare.

Our members are into more rock/emo/punk looking girls, 99% of our girls are amateur and the pics are exclusive so they're going to have a hard time finding them anywhere else. We talk to our members in our blogs, they tell us which of the girls they like and after a while we become a little community for them and once that's happened they'll stick around and recur, recur, recur.

Why choose between Revshare and PPS when you can have both. Every Wednesdays, Braincash offers 50% Revshare plus an Extra 50$ PPS on every sale for a specific site in the Network.

For the month of November we have the promotion on the site LoadMyMouth.com

For more details about the Promotion click here or hit me up: http://www.braincash.com/promotions.php

Its a gamble either way. If you're promoting $1 sign ups then revshare can bite you in the ass if it doesn't rebill. I learned that the hard way a while back. 60% of a dollar is a whole lot less than $35 and none of those SIX sales rebilled. Now I only do PPS with that particular sponsor. Luckily that was a long time ago. N00b mistakes.

Revshare can be awesome for sure. Nothing like a 11 month rebill (and counting fingers crossed!)

Nope. Physical signatures + detailed authorization required after a certain spending level which makes it much harder for a chargeback.

it all depends on what you promote, how you promote it and what your goals are.

Like how AWE that you promote on your blog fucks webmasters with their revshare by only paying out for 14 days instead of the life of the customer.
