Child beating is wrong. I don't know how badly that kid got beat, but it sounds bad. BUT, I understand what Fletch is saying... because nowadays kids have so much freedom, and parents aren't allowed to lay a finger from laws that are designed to prevent what you guys saw today, but it doesn't help the parents that wish to properly discipline their kids. Kids can sue the parents for laying a finger on them - it's pretty bad.

Have I missed something? Is the woman in custody and the child has been checked out by doctors? The last report I saw was by the chief of police and he said the woman's attorney said she was supposed to turn herself in tomorrow and the chief said he did not know where the little girl is.
