for those that havent already seen it, starcraft 2 (or starcraft ghost) is a shooter game (like halo i guess), single player (i think?) and meant for consoles only.

its pretty weak.. heres a quote

remember, however, that warcraft iii was originally conceived as a first person battle game before they kept their original structure, albeit modified with heros

wc3 is a good rts game. i don't know why they would make a fps game next either. sc is still so popular they could make twice as much by making sc2 a rts game.

i was assuming it was sc2 since its on starcraft2.com

i've also heard another company is actually making the game. so o well.

I have complete faith in Blizzard. They have yet to provide anything but kickass gaming. Honestly, if they are only making this for consoles, it may be time for me to look at an Xbox. Might have to also find someone with experience in soldering

And the other Warcraft game was not warcraft three it was also a spin off. Warcraft Tales or Stories or some shit like that.

I am glad that I don't believe 90% of what you guys spew out cause you always seem to post 90% bs and 10% fact.

Quite simply because FPS games are easier to market. The good ones have a massive following. Think of Half-Life. With the mods that have come out, people are STILL using it, and it's STILL being sold in stores. Coutner-Strike being the most popular. But there's Day of Defeat as well.

I love a good RTS too and I also love a good turn based game, like Jagged Alliance, but I also realize that there's a smaller hardcore market for them than the FPS.
