You can't compare dell with an asus....but the price difference is a factor indeed.... i got the same specs laptop a week ago for same price though it was a custom built MSI.

Where'd you get the MSI from?

I'll probably end up with the Asus but still browsing a bit.

they sell those here at a local shop, they order them directly from MSI they have offices here (israel)....they give 2 year warranty to go with it and they guarantee the lowest price....

My favorite thing about Dell so far is the warranty I purchased when I got my laptop. I knew I was going down to Mexico to live in a hut in the jungle, and that it's likely weird things could happen. They assured me that my warranty would cover me, even there, and that tech support would still have to be by my side within 24hrs if I needed them.

Well for the first half of the year, I didn't need any help, but the second half, my AC adapter died. I was facing searching Mexico for one that would happen to work for my computer, or leave the country and return home, unless Dell came out to save me. I called them, and sure enough, they had a guy come all the way to meet me. They were going to send him to the village I was in, but there are no street names there, only winding paths, so I offered to meet him in the city. However, they were going to send him on the boat, to the dock to try and find me.

AND, I recently broke the hinge on one side so I sent it in, and told them about every tiny little nitpicky thing that was bugging me, and they fixed or replaced absolutely everything. I have a practically new laptop sitting here.

hmm good ill be preferring the most higher price with higher price often brand with the highest bid may come handy cuz it's more durable than the cheaper one
