I don't understand why people are having problems understanding this. If you say that you actively choose to not hang out with gay people, there must be a reason. The logical route would be to assume that the reason is that you have something against gay people, or think that hanging out with/having gay friends is somehow undesirable.

It was the "choose" part that got me. It's one thing if you have no gay friends because you don't know any or haven't met any that you get along with; it's another thing entirely to imply that you write off a friendship solely because the person is homosexual. Someone's sexual preference is not their sole identity.

That said, that one employee being a fucktard doesn't mean that World Wide Content are all homophobic or idiotic. Assuming a whole group is one way because of one example or instance isn't right, whether it's stereotyping gays or a company who had the misfortune to hire someone who says dumb shit.
