how much effect this really has on a paysite join cost usd-euro

so dont you take the monthly amount ad then add .045% = 40.01?

if it was 39.84 + .45% = 40.01
am i doing it wrong?

do you add .18 or $18

real question. its early so please excuse my math.

assume the cost is currently 39.84 per month

wow....first of all regardless of any transer/banking/currency exchange fees....you need to add 45% which is .45 not .045

39.84x1.45 = 57.77

So it would be 57.77 if someone wanted to buy a 39.84 membership in euros with dollars.

beuase I am an owner and am not a programmer or whatever, i need to be top notch at math right when i wake up? whatever heh. you learly dont udnerstand how busiensses work. do you think i manually go into the program and add up all the numbers and cut cheks like that?

Its $18 pimpdogg,thats why all the talk lately about the dollar ,its having a major effect on some businesses.

As a side note: I did a little survey with 30 europeans and the results I think maybe worth noting.

1. Most said they would prefer and it would make them more liable to join if the join page appears in thier currency as they said they didnt keep a eye on the different currency rates .(well they are just normal guys looking for porn)

2. Two guys didnt even know that thier c/card could be used to pay in US$ as they were euro issued.

I know these things sound maybe stupid but I bet they all add up to higher joins if some of these things are considered.

and how about determining how much you can pay to webmasters?

don't you need to be able to deduct content, hosting, salaries, advertising, whatever, calculate average retention, trial to full membership convertion, profit from upsales etc? so you get an average number of how much each sale is worth and then you know how much you can pay?

or if you pay normally $35 per sale, how can you know you can afford to start a promo and pay $50 for a week or so?

well obviously you're running a program so you cant be that bad at calculating such things either...
and this euro/usd conversion seems much easier...

I don't use ICQ anymore.
