The band kinda sounds like old school "Suicidal Tendencies" but I can't tell if it's them or just someone trying to sound like them. It's been a long ass time since I listen to them so it's hard to say.

Yea he's in Metalica now.. Anyway youtube has a lot of their videos. They are pretty old school as in 80's to early 90's. If you were a skater in that time period, then yea dam sure would have known who they were..
They were like right of passage, they were big with all the skaters. Hell I remember listening to them on cassette tapes b4 CD's were sold..

Definitely NOT Suicidal Tendencies. Can't really tell who it is, doesn't sound familiar...
If you wanna check out some Suicidal Tendecnies. Go pick up (or download) Lights.. Camera... Revolution... (my personal favorite), Join The Army, or Controlled By Hatred, all badass albums. Though pretty much every album kicked ass in it's own way. Even the selftitled album kicked ass as far as being pure punk goes...Comment

modern "hardcore" or screamo as i like to refer to it is basically the equivalent of what straight edge punk was in the 80's. at least ot sems to be what straight edge whiny emo kids listen to these days. the only difference being that straight edges kids' bands from the 80s like minor threat and ss decontrol didn't completely suck. minor threat actuall kicked ass...Comment

i dunno, i try not to overly classify music int specific subgenres or anything, but its kinda hard not to, i spent a long time working in a music shop. the music in the video seems a lot like what i've heard some people refer to as melodic hardcore (ya screamo). think alexis on fire, or billy talent with a little more screaming. i'm gonna have to guess that whoever sings the song is fairly recent. like within the last 5 years or so. seems to have that familiar formula whoever it is...Comment
