My editor owns the rights to any music he uses.

So if I were to get some videos done by him, he'd be able to include music in there too? That's good cause a lot of guys I've met all say stuff like 'Bah, who's gonna know if you rip the music" and that kinda irritates me. They'd hate to have his work ripped, so they should respect others the same way.

Yes, this guy is really professional, he owns a collection of music he owns the rights to reuse. He's also done tv and full movie editing; his studio is full post-production.

I really can't say enough nice things about him, he's been very helpful. I'll have to let you guys know when he revamps all my video content and we put it up. :)

How much does this guy charge? Does he only only do windows media players? A while ago all your stuff was quicktime. Are your members gonna be pissed?

And he does all formats. I will probably leave all the quicktime files I have and just update with the new stuff. I'm still a little undecided on what format to offer. The thing is that my video section hasn't been a huge part of my site before, because of all the live shows (mine and the other girls on my network)... that's really what my members are looking for. But now that more people have high speed access and I have a ton of archived content it's time to branch out.

Maybe I'll just offer two types of formats, for the most capability.

Since you already offer Quicktime to existing users I would add Windows Media Player and keep Quicktime going as well. If you have the budget and since you have someone doing it for you I would add Real as a third choice.

No, I haven't made it to a large convention or show yet.. the adult thing isn't my main gig, side project which I'm still debating if it is worth it to start putting more time into or not. During that show in Tampa I was interviewing with BMW. (buster icq me sometime, 104600940)

Makin' about $100/mo with my main site which I work on with another two guys right now, which isn't bad, but finding more traffic has been difficult lately, trying to find some better trades and hopefully produce some original content.. we shall see.


And yea.. while QT is great quality and I love the program, WMP seems to have dominated the market and is pretty good. I've boycotted RealPlayer since '98, never again will it bloat my hard drive.

I hate to admit it, but Windows Media & Quicktime are probably the two most common, with Windows being a little more popular because of the faster download times. Real SUCKS. Period. I hate Real more than words can possibly describe... (Ahem)

Quality clip, Nina! Ok, time for the Nerd question, what editor did your dude use? Looks like Adobe Premeire. (Just a guess, but the fade looked like an A/B roll edit)

Very nice video, and nice editing job too.. Just wanted to mention that any music consisting of 3 notes or more is copyrighted, so just make sure that music is licensed for ya. :)

Steve, have you checked with your lawyer on that? I have heard the opposite when it comes to COMMERICAL usage.

Well I am pretty sure Nina supplied her video guy the content... maybe he drew it and animated it from a picture he found on the free tour

1. That short video clip isn't only what he can do.

2. You should have seen how yellow it was before he fixed it.

3. It took him like 5 minutes (not 10).

4. It really wasn't meant to be a sample of his work, I just stuck it up there for fun.
