They have declared a state of emergency and all the independent tv channels and land/mobile phones are dead in the capital.

Private TV channels are dead. But mobiles and landline is working fine. Internet as well.

Pakistan is ran by a dictator , just like Iraq was.

Only difference is that Saddam was a friend that became a foe, where with Musharraf it is the other way around ... at least for now
