See ProjectNaked thought I was being a dick but CCBill and the postal service are having issues.. lol

My check is also late. I'll wait it out for a bit since my post office already fucked up one of my checks from HugeTraffic. My post office wrote me a note saying sorry for the damage mail.

Although, a stack of checks came in today like clockwork.

CCBill has always paid me. It might be a couple days off here and there but I blame it on the mail system.

I am sorry but really blame couldnt just be a random post office fluke effecting so many people in so many different locations. Unless of course the post office just lost a huge bag of mail at the main drop point ccbill uses. Something obviously went wacky with this one. Either a software glitch and many did not get printed like they should have, some idiot has a bag of mail behind their desk or drivers seat at the post office, or a rouge postal employee just decided to steal all our shit.

Checks are free (well under 1.00)
Checks have legal liabilities attached to them.
Checks have been fine for last 9 years or so.
I also do not need funds same day.
CCbill will correct the check issue.

Are you a program owner or an affiliate - probably different check/period dates - hence the confusion. :) I received the check mailled on the 22nd on the 25th. The latest one mailed on the 29th is what is late (+5 days) for muah.

I just got last weeks ck that I was supposed to get wed today, following monday. Something with the mail according to ccbill.

I didn't say you were being a dick, just jumping the gun - and for the record, yes, they are having mailing issues and are not disclosing what exactly happened. I have had checks show up early and checks show up weeks late, but they always show up. If 2 weeks were to go by and no checks and the 800 number is disconnected....then I would be posting threads every hour.

Then you are one of the lucky ones - most of us have not received those checks mailed on the 22nd (which I think I tried to convey as that would be the mailing date for the 14th weekly period)

plus wires cost around $35. so should i pay $1820 per year for wires or $21.32 per year for checks?

Jinxed! Now my latest CCbill check is late. Expected it last thursday. :(

CCbill is so consistent, it is hard not to freak out when they are a day or three late.

Bank Wires (like the lottery) are for people who are bad at math.

Mail came and no check from CCBILL. No biggie...will wait it out a few more days.

Just got off the phone with CCBILL and they said they are talking to the Post Master in their area. So all the Blame is on the USPS.

I haven't received my check today.

Talked to supervisor Adam on the phone yesterday, said he'd call me when they've figured out what's going on with the checks. Still no call from them, and no check.

I GOT mine today. Woah. Also in Florida so not sure whats up. They sent me an email telling me they were talking to the Postal Service.

Do you still have the envelope? I'm curious to see what the postmark date is?

For those still missing them I urge you to email CCBill. They'll ask for your information and record your missing check. They are in talks with the Postal Service and trying to sort out the problem.

Mine came today, post marked the 29th so it was mailed on time. Post Office fuck up I guess.

I did that when they recommended in this thread - and got basically a canned email back - and no one ever asked for any information after I emailed them

This might be a stupid question, but are those postmarks made by the post office or are they stamped on by CCBill with their Pitney Bowes machine? If so, is it possible that they were stamped one day but not actually mailed until later?

And this might be a stupid guess, but I wonder if CCBill recently started dropping their mail at a different branch that wasn't staffed to sort all of their mail? Didn't they just move or something? If so (and I'm only guessing and pulling this out of my ass) my only beef is that with as many people emailing them about late checks the past month or so, that CCBill didn't follow-through on it with their local postmaster or at least bother to PRETEND even that they cared about the complaints instead of just giving us those bullshit "we have no control over the mail" responses. Also, sometimes people just want to hear a simple and genuine "sorry" even if it's total bullshit.

Oh well.

It's the PB meter machine stamp. It's also against postal regulations to "pre-stamp" first class mail like that and they will not accept it if you do (It makes them look bad... ie..delayed delivery...hahah)... thus why we have seen the double stamps before from Ccbill. This means they attempted to drop too late and had to rerun the letters back through (no additional postage) with the next day's date.

I believe that this time it was the post office's fault.
