MojoHost, Leader in Quality Adult Hosting

Hello Everyone,

It's been a long while since we've done any press releases or announcements so this is WAY overdue! With eight years in adult myself and five and a half years of specializing in quality adult hosting I am very excited to be announcing many enhancements to our service and reintroducing our company to those of you who may be new or unfamiliar with MojoHost. There is an awful lot of smoke and mirrors in various competitors marketing and we are proud to be leader in our community that always "tells it like it is."

Below is a company overview with a lot of technical information. I want to invite everyones questions about our service and hosting in general, as an owner of an online business this is a subject that of great value to you. Whether you ultimately choose MojoHost or another provider I am always happy to be of assistance in any way possible.

Thank you all in advance to those who take the time to read on and post any questions or comments.

Sincerely,

Brad Mitchell, CEO
MojoHost

------------

Our Mission: To seek out only the most qualified internet companies, convert them to customers, provide them with the highest quality managed hosting experience ? and be the last host they?ll ever need.

Sophisticated and Resilient Network

MojoHost achieves stellar network diversity by direct connections and relationships with eight global networks and a total of forty-four (44) gigabit connectivity. MojoHost has direct contractual relationships with every carrier and does not buy from bandwidth brokers, resellers or aggregators for it?s 44 Gigabit of connectivity. The current roster of carriers includes Level3 (1G), Hurricane Electric (10G), TeliaSonera (10G), PCCW Global (1G), Cogent (1G), Tiscali (10G), Telecom Italia (10G) and Global Crossing (1G). MojoHost?s strategic choice of location, the NAP of the Americas®, provides robust peering fabric access to which MojoHost has two gigabit connections. Current in-facility direct peering relationships with global networks include: Google, Verisign, Akamai, Yahoo, Init7, Comsat, Peer1 and Limelight with over a dozen additional connections in process and a total of over 60 (and growing) possible.

With a more than a half million dollar investment in network devices from Cisco, Internap and Dell, MojoHost delivers what most would consider to be the finest possible bandwidth product in every respect. Our network design is thoughtful and incorporates ?best practices? throughout. We utilize two Cisco Catalyst 6509s for core routing and switching. This significant investment is complete with Cisco?s newest SUP720-3BXL supervisor modules, 10G line cards, 1G fiber line cards and 1G copper cards. MojoHost is constantly in the process of expanding global visibility with additional carriers and capacity. We incorporates a flawless design which has carrier links divided between Core routers, allowing for every failure scenario. With a two-tier network architecture all client servers connect via gigabit link to a distribution switch which has multiple uplinks to each Core. Because distribution switches are multi-homed, a complete Core failure never disrupts traffic flow to client servers.

Most hosting enterprises rely on simplistic BGP and interface up/down logic for connectivity. This type of design is flawed, basically useless, because it relies completely on carriers to identify all of their local and global network problems. MojoHost has incorporated the Internap FCP 5200 into it?s network infrastructure to guarantee the highest quality bandwidth product. By using optical fiber taps or NetFlow on every carrier connection, this device sits out of line and watches all packets coming in and out of the MojoHost network. This device also does constant round-trip checks to all significant end destinations (surfer networks) and is able to measure packet loss, latency, and jitter to every destination over all connected carriers. The end result is that MojoHost is automatically able to see network problems locally or across the world and automatically change it?s routing policies to put it?s traffic on the best possible path. The logic behind being well connected to so many global networks is simple - it increases exposure, path diversity and presents the opportunity for route optimization which we are able to enjoy by utilizing the Internap device. MojoHost is of the belief that all carriers, regardless of the rates they sell connectivity for, have good and bad parts of their network, are prone to error locally or globally, literally have ?good days? and ?bad days? and that every carrier added brings additional value to MojoHost?s premium, blended bandwidth.

World Class Data Center

MojoHost conducted an exhaustive nationwide data center search in 2006 to meet it?s ever growing demands for growth and quality of infrastructure. MojoHost is a company focused on delivering the absolute best managed hosting and nothing else. Our experience with hosting since 1999 has taught us that there is significant value in a top quality datacenter environment. As a result, we specifically eliminated data center acquisition not due to expense, it is actually cheaper to buy or lease one of the hundreds of empty ones built during the boom, but based on our goal of being the most sophisticated managed host out there with a superb infrastructure. As a result, we have all the benefits of professional site management and a half billion dollar site build-out and are simply left with managing our cage space, racks and servers.

After extensive research and site visits, CEO Brad Mitchell chose Terremark's flagship facility, the NAP of the Americas®, one of the most significant telecommunications projects in the world. This state-of-the-art Network Access Point (NAP) located in Miami, Florida, provides highly secure and reliable Facility Services including Colocation and Peering, Managed Services. The NAP of the Americas® was the first purpose-built, carrier-neutral NAP and is the only facility of its kind specifically designed to link Latin America with the rest of the world. The global significance of this site has given MojoHost has the ability to connect with dozens of global Tier One networks directly within this facility.

The client list for this data center is a who?s-who of Fortune 500 companies, US and Foreign governments, international telecommunications carriers and even the US Department of Defense Southern Command. Few sites nationwide can actually compare themselves to this data center and as a result, demand has both space and power at a more premium rate. MojoHost serves companies that insist upon good value but appreciate that the safety, security, cooling, connectivity and power redundancy of a data center is of paramount importance and at the very heart of how good hosting is born.

Mission-Critical Support

MojoHost employs only the most talented systems administrators full time. MojoHost does not outsource any technical support to any other companies or employees residing outside the United States. The MojoHost promise is 100% customer satisfaction and in managed hosting we believe that is only accomplished by hiring bright, hard-working, good communicating super geeks that work with drive and get the job done. We pay our employees well, provide a full suite of tangible benefits and aim to make this a life-long career choice for each and every employee by continually rewarding great performance. MojoHost support currently operates in two shifts, from 8am-12midnight and has rotating on-call and backup for emergencies between midnight and 8am EST. MojoHost also has complete remote-hands and smart-hands assistance 24/7/365 from Terremark. MojoHost?s customer commitment is an unrelenting 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. As such, all employees and owners carry company cell phones and have their contact information available to all clients.

Quality Server Assets

Through it?s strategic relationship with Dell and Dell Financial Services, MojoHost is continually the first to market with leading edge server technology. With over a million dollars in server hardware we build solutions for every size client with ease and proficiency. Our relationship with Dell allows access to an entire team of finance, storage, network, server and software specialists when research is required. Servicing servers already in use is effortlessly accomplished with MojoHost?s hardware standardization policies and large spare part and spare server inventory.

We recently moved our mission critical business to Mojohost and I have to say, as critical as I am about my hosting I have been extremely impressed by both the service, and the support provided.

If you care about your business, it's within your interests to explore the options offered by Mojo to take your business to the next level.

I've been with many hosts over the past 8+ years, and none of them can even begin to approach the level of service and commitment I've been getting the past year from Mojo.

Brad is right, I think this will be my last host. Keep up the amazing work!

In the spirit of being me, I don't feel the need to exaggerate or lie like other hosts about their infrastructure. That's not an MSRP figure, if you wanted one of those it would be a multiple. Based on having a consolidated setup in one facility, the finest one at that, it's a text book setup that very little, if anything, could be improved on.

Cheers,

Brad

Honestly I rarely ever post in a thread plugging a hosting company, program, et al, but in this case it's only proper that I throw in a few words about this company and the people behind it. I've been involved in the hosting industry for about 10 years now playing both roles, the client, and also the provider (working for other hosting companies as a sysadmin, and owning my own hosting company which isn't really active anymore) and honestly Mojohost is one of the most well put together operations I've had the pleasure of being exposed to. The post title is rather humble considering what these guys will do for their customers, the bandwidth quality and the services all around provided. I came to Brad after my prior sales guy at my former datacenter had basically done me over for several months. I laid everything out on the table for him to analyze and after a day or two, he had a solution. Formerly, I was hosted in an environment in which downtime was a daily occurence. Brad and his amazing guys (Corey, Greg, Rob) implemented a cluster solution for my high bandwidth needs. Considering the amount of sites I was moving and the intricate details of some of them, these guys really were on their toes for about a month making sure all of the data flowed as perfectly and properly as humanly possible. I was up around 3am when I had a database issue which had caused another database server to react thus causing sites to be down. I popped in a ticket, Greg from Mojohost was in contact with me within no joke, 5 minutes. These guys were honestly a savior to my online presence. Without their quick thinking and knowledge, I wouldn't have been able to move away from my prior provider unscathed. These guys are the heart of my business, because as we all know, hosting is incredibly critical to any online business. If you ask me who to host with, you're going to hear nothing but "Mojohost" out of me. I love these guys, they really know what the hell they're doing and they treat their customers just so goddamned well. If you want to hear more about these guys, hit me up on ICQ, 251095197. Brad is a wonderful guy, a great businessman. Corey, Greg, and Rob are some of the brightest sys admins I've met in my lifetime. Just my small piece to say, sorry it's so long-winded but these guys deserve a great deal of credit for being a solid company and being a really solid group of people.

In the first couple of years of my companies existence, my biggest problem seemed to be hosting and all the issues that come with it. From one week to the next we seem to constantly have problems with security threats, or down time. I switched hosts twice in just as many years and was not at all a happy customer.

Three years ago we made the decision to swtch everything over to MOJOHOST and I could not be happier with the results. The team at MOJO made the change over seemless and virtually problem free. We have had little if any issue to deal with at all in 3 years, and when something has poped up we can always count on MOJO for the best service in the business.

With great pricing, and what I believe is the best customer service/support in the business, I could not be happier with my decision to go with MOJOHOST. A good company, run by good people.

Highly recomend them to anyone who want the best!

I am a very loyal Mojo client.

I currently host with National Net, Phat Servers, Mojohost, Yahoo (for mainstream) and others and I can say that my best experience has been with Brad and his team.

Corey has acted like my personal CTO at times helping me troubleshoot issues and upgrade systems at no extra cost. I remember when other hosts wanted to charge me for software upgrades Brad and Corey were right there to roll up their sleeves and make things work for me at no extra cost.

Brad was nice enough to give me a tour of his data center in Miami last year and needless to say I was even more impressed with them after seeing how well everything is put together there. I have seen a few data centers in my day but nothing this advanced.

I can't recommend Mojo enough for great service and support. I should also add that they have great SEO appeal as all my top Google spots are hosted there.

Keep up the good work guys, I am a customer for life.

Mojohost was one of the rare names I always came up against, when bidding for hosting. He is on a very short list of people I would consider sending hosting business to.

Kudos to you and your company Brad!

Congrats Brad! I think its high time you toot your own horn a little. You and Corey have worked really hard to build a fantastic business! MojoHost is truly one of the top players in the hosting business.

Plus there is no better person to do business with than Brad. Speaking as a hosting person myself, I can say Brad's data center is fantastic. I was honored to take a tour of the data center with Brad and it is fantastic. That is truly one of the best data centers in the world.

I am proud to call Brad a friend and if you are looking for a quality traditional web host, you owe it to yourself to check out MojoHost.

Brad,
I could write out on the boards of all the instances that you have helped me, the numerous amounts of phone calls you have taken in all hours of the nights and the countless times you have been there for an encouraging word or a piece of advice when I really needed it.
I cannot imagine my adult business ever seeing the light of the day without your help and for that I will always be grateful
You are more important to me than my American express card.
People might say that I am laying it on thick, but the fact of the matter is that Paper Street has depended on MOJO, on Corey, on Greg, and on you more times that we can think about, and each and every time you have done everything and more to help us.

Amar

If anyone needs to get any information on how Mojo and Crew operates (whether you own a program, have tgps, mpgs, blog sites...etc) give me a shout and I will sing the praises of Mojo and company on the phone or in person.

One last thing; How many of you can remeber what MOJOHOST was named before the switch?

I've been with Mojohost for over a year now and I'm glad I went with them... no more sleepless nights! Brad, Corey and Greg are always there when I need them... They even helped me with stuff they had nothing to do with, and that to me is what world class customer service is all about... keep up the good work guys!

Serious question, not here to bash you..

Awhile back I had an account with mojohost.

Someone injected code into all of my pages and caused me a TON of problems.

I've taken a recent interest in security and am wondering how that injection happened? This was with a virtual account btw.

Just wondering if you could explain the technical bits for me..

Your post shows your ignorance but to each their own.

Everything I run is hosted at Mojo and they are by far the best hosting company I have ever had. Thanks to them I am making thousands more then I was at other companies.

Hi Buccaneer,

I'll take this one, it's falls within my bailiwick here at Mojohost. The incident you?re referring to (could only be one) occurred back at the end of November, 2004. It?s one that I don?t like to think about too often, but also one I won?t let myself forget. It was a painful day for us, and an even more painful day for a handful of our clients.

I learned immediately that I had a very faulty security policy in place and corrected the problem. We had some long hours that day, but in the end we tracked everything down and removed the injection from client?s files, cleaned up and secured the affected servers.

I?m sorry if that had anything to do with your being an ?ex?, but if we can make it up to you, just give Brad a call.

A lot of good people have said some terrific things about us in this thread that Brad has already acknowledged. On behalf of myself, and our staff.. Thank you for the words, and more importantly, thank you for sharing your business with us.

Corey

Below is a company overview with a lot of technical information. I want to invite everyones questions about our service and hosting in general, as an owner of an online business this is a subject that of great value to you. Whether you ultimately choose MojoHost or another provider I am always happy to be of assistance in any way possible.

For more information, please contact Brad Mitchell.

Bump for Brad.

He probably barely knows me...

But, as a competitor he is one of the VERY few folks I recommend. This is not something I say lightly either.

Sounds like you've put a lot of thought and effort into your business, and these are the kind of folks we need in this industry. To many idiots out there for the quick buck and to make the highest profit possible.

So, as a competitor - thanks! Having professional companies like yours in the field makes it better for us all.

-Phil

I fell in with Mojohost years ago when I was a total noob, I was trying to run Comus thumbs on somebody else's crappy virtual hosting and got fired as a customer because they couldn't handle my pissant 4k visitors per day. I asked around here on GFY, got recommended to Mojohost, and then Brad gently explained to me why I needed a real server of my own to do what I wanted to do and have room to grow.

I've been adding stuff ever since, and I've never looked back. Corey and Greg answer all my dumb questions swiftly and cheerfully, and questions in the form of "is there some way I can do X?" usually come back "we tweaked something on your box so that happens automatically now". It's awesome.

I know I've got to be the ultimate small potatoes among Mojohost clients, but they never let on. The service truly is excellent, and I know that some of the setup work they've done for me would have been billed at megabucks hourly rates as "development and consulting" by other hosts.

Loyal customer? You betcha! You'd have to hold a gun to my head to get me to take my hosting business anywhere else. I feel lucky to be doing business with these guys.

We have been with Brad quite some time back when his company was called SinHost. Brad saved me from my previous host which was the worst host I have ever had. I got to tour the facility in Florida and was just floored. If Florida has a state emergency Brad's 250 million dollar facility that he chose will be the 3rd to be taken care of in the state. Now that is a nice feeling. MojoHost has helped my business grow to new levels and continue to do so. Congrats to the Brad and the MojoHost team.
