First of all, I snowboard. That should answer some of your more ignorant questions.

Second of all, professional Golf has revealed itself to be pretty stupid.

Suzy Whaley qualifies for the Masters (I feel sorry for her as she probably isnt asking fo be a feminist role model) and the tournament host club won't let her in.

Is it just me or does it seem SPORTING COMPETITION doesn't really matter? Shouldn't the male golfers WANT her to play to defend their competitive honour?

I heard Tiger Woods say "There's nothing you can do about it." I'm sure thats exactly what his forefathers were saying while whitey was busy whuppin' on 'em.

I had the chance to go see the GVO (for free of course)
this year with my dad and did it suck.
We were there for an hour, just to see what it was all about.
Ill never do it again.
As for snowboarding...im counting the days till we get to hit the slope...i hope we have a good year this time around in Van. as the weather is getting warmer. And i know nothing will compare to about 5 yrs ago...wow there was just way too much powder.

a woman cannot qualify for the masters because the masters is not part of the lpga. also just like there are all women health clubs there are all male golf courses. i dont see the problem. it is a privatly owned course. golf is how professional sports should be. if you are good, you get paid, if you suck you dont. unlike the whiney bitches in baseball and other professional sports that threaten strike while making 20 million a season.

one quick question... where does it say she qualified for the masters?? i can't find that. all i can find is that she's the first woman t qualify for a pga tour. that doesn't mean she qualifies for the masters. the story about women bitching b/c agusta national is an all mens club is a different story. correct me if i'm wrong..

This chick is gonna get ran off the course. She can not compete with the men from the back tees. She did not qualify for the masters......she qualified for a pga tour event. The greatter Hartford Open. (At the course where her hubby is the GM) But she did earn it. So let her play.........so we may all be reminded why we have to make the little boys and little girls play seperately. As far as Augusta National goes.......It is a PRIVATE club. Yes private like your house. Why don't we just make one league for all sports..............One Basketball , soccer, golf etc........Maybe not , because then there would be ZERO professional women athletes.

First off... snowboarding is not a sport

ok that out of the way let me say this.. no one qualifies for The Masters... you are invited... you can't buy bribe or bitch your way into this tournament... you must meet a minimum set of requirements to be invited and then you are allowed to participate.... as far as women at the masters... well this is not an LPGA event and therefore this topic you started has absolutely nothing to do with The Masters

The controversy surrounding this is based on the fact that the "club" The Augusta National does not allow women into it's membership... it has nothing to do with the tournament.... but there are certain femanazi's who have taken it upon themselves to single out the Augusta National because this is the last hurdle that the women of America must overcome to be truly equal with men... like there aren't bigger problems women face in this country

I think Hootie Johnson was right to drop all sponsorship of the 2003 tournament... not only does that mean that the sponsors don?t have to worry about being boycotted... but there will be no commercial interruption....

Come back tomorrow when I am sober and I will debate you at length on this as I live within spitting distance of the National and I have intimate knowledge of what?s taking place next door to me?
