They want to legalize growing it in San Francisco, probably going to happen too, considering the mayor and governor as well as a shitload of those haight ashbury people are all for it..
tons of other states also allow it for medicinal use.

friend of mine, his aunt has cancer, i get her stash because she doesnt like the taste. bad thing about it, it doesnt come with a single seed or stem. some of you would praise that, but if you wanna grow this fucking awesome strain, you need at least one seed to do so. so im on my ever smoking quest to get one damn seed and grow that.

If you smoke a fatty and then go sit (Or worse LIE) on your couch, the odds are that you won't move from that spot unless it's to raid the fridge.

But conversely, if you smoke a doob/bowl/bong/blade/whatever and engage in any activity, you can function just fine. In fact, I find I enjoy my work much more if I'm high. Not to say that I can't enjoy it if I'm NOT high, but it's a little more fun with a buzz going on & I seem to become a lot "Pickier" as far as my final product is concerned.

It really all comes down to a few things: Your experience with smoking pot, your expectations from smoking it, your state of mind before smoking, even how much you've eaten, or exactly WHAT you've eaten can all affect your stone.

To say that smoking pot is completely harmless is a bit of an asinine thing to say, I mean weed unto itself is fairly innocuous. Eating it (Damn that's fun) is about the safest way to consume it, (albeit you will be a useless puddle of Tapioca pudding sitting on your couch afterwards) next to a vapourizer.

Now I'm pro weed all the way. but like I said, it's not without it's hazards. THC itself is harmless and has a toxicity level of ZERO, BUT there are a number of by-products that are formed during the combustion of weed such as Carbon Monoxide, etc. But that is just a natural effect from burning it. When smoked in a vapourizer, there IS no combustion, therefore no harmful gases are produced (Unless you just ate a burrito). The next safest way to smoke is to turn your weed into oil. It's not a difficult thing to do & the final product (If done properly) is pure THC with perhaps a small amount of Chloryphyll for colour

All in all, Pot has never been directly connected to crime, violent behaviour or Sociopathic tendencies. (Think about it, if a couple of guys smoke a doobie, the last thing they'd want to do is HURT someone, unless they were fucked up and violent in the FIRST place! Shit, if they decided to go and rob a 7-11 they'd see all the munchies and end up SPENDING 20 bucks!)

Hemp has been used by so many different cultures for so many
tousands of years for everything from Rope to Clothing to building materials... When a Hemp plant it processed, the leftover cellulose can be used to make over 30,000 different products! Legalizing weed and reenstating the Hemp industry would be the smartest thing that we as a species could possibly do. One acre of Industrial Hemp can produce as much useable fibre in 4 months as an acre of trees can in 4 YEARS. That means a crop of Hemp EVERY 4 MONTHS! The plant itself has a much higher (Heh I said Higher) rate of photosynthesis than other plants of it's kind, therefore it is one of the best oxygen producing plants on the planet! If we were to replace all the trees we've cut down with Hemp plants, the "Greenhouse" effect we're all dreading could possibly be slowed, if not reversed entirely! I remember a Member of Parliament in BC (Go figure) stating not too long ago that "The only way that Marijuanna could cause you harm would be if a bale of it were to fall on you" which is more or less true.

This bullshit I keep hearing about how smoking one joint is like smoking 5 cigarettes is the biggest pile of Bovine Pathology I've ever heard! Yes, as I stated earlier there are small amounts of toxins produced during the combustion of pot, but to say something like that is ridiculous! Unless you're smoking 1/4 oz blunts, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
