Any of you heard anything about this?
Google, Altavista and starting november 20 all Inktomi based Search engines will start to completely ignore the meta tags.

Seems like you're a few years out of date. Meta tags don't really influence a pages rank much anymore. Most search engines stopped paying attention to them a couple of years ago. I also doubt that all 3 of those engines you mentioned would all change on the same day.
