:mad NameCheap stopped to take the ePass Virtual card!

WTF???? I just got a renewal notice for one of my domains and thought I'd renew it instantly. Logged in, typed in my epass virtual card details as always, pressed the "pay" button... And the transaction got fuckin' declined. Tried a second time. Nothing!

This really really sucks, because the fact they take ePass (and their cheap prices) was actually why I registered all my domains there. So, another day ePass lost a bit of its value again - and time to choose another registrar I guess

I just (two hours ago) funded my Namecheap account with Epass virtual visa. Obviously it's not Epass per se, may be other security variables at work.

First check your balance, if its sufficient. Then have a look at statement, in case there is a charge. If no, talk Micheal .. as martinsc said he just bought one.

instead of paying for the domain with epass virtual visa during checkout try loading your account with epass virtual visa for an amount like $25 and then during checkout choose the option to pay for the domain using the balance in your namecheap account, it will work.

Well, thanks for the hint about funding my account. Doesn't work though This is the message I get:

"Sorry! Your credit card charge timed out and didn't go through. Your card was not charged. Please try again."

Double checked the CC number, checked my epass account - it's not blocked and has more than enough funds to cover this small charge. So, I guess it's time to contact Michael...

PS: No, it's not possible anymore to use your ePass Virtual with Paypal. Tried it a few times, didn't work. I asked Michael about it, and he told me that ePass doesn't allow to fund PayPal accounts with their Virtual anymore.

dude, that's not like you've tried to purchase porsche CGT and got your black mastercard declined. It's offshore electron visa which you pay $35 yearly fees , WTF you are all expecting here ? swiss bank accounting for 30 bucks ? jebus.
