Data Management
I'm curious what methods you GFY'ers are using for data management.... do you still have shit burned to cd's, stacked up sitting on a shelf somewhere? Or you got a more better way of storing it all...... like removeable HDs.... or maybe a big ass box array....

I use CDR's. As long as you keep it organized, then it works out fine.

Mostly CD's for smaller stuff like MP3s. As far as personal storage, I use the Compact Flash 384 MB Disks that you can pick up for around $150. It plugs in through USB with a $25 connector. As far as big time, I just bought a (Near) 600 GB SCSI RAID 5 Storage System for Cologroup for the virtual hosting. Hopefully that helps a bit in some way.

i've been doing CD's but have been lazy on indexing them so i can find shit. eventually i plan on building a huge raid array and throwing everything back on and organizing it in one central place. i have a feeling i've backed up a lot of duplicate shit.
something like 8x200gig drives raid5'ed.. 1.4 terabytes usable wouldn't be too shabby for a couple $k's.
