Can not remember the name but there is one vitamin E rich lotion designed for medical usage primarly in burn centers.

I get shots from my dermatologist. It cost $75 bucks a shot and work for about 6 months. I don't remember what the crap is, but I have like some big scars on my shoulders and one on my chest. It bruises them for a bit but then in 1-2 weeks they almost disapear completely. Bad thing is you have to go get new shots in about a year after they start to appear again. Its more for scares that are raised up though

also, try retinol. it's a steroid-cream that encourages faster cell re-growth. but i don't know about putting it on surgical scars...might want to consult your dr first

My plastic surgeon recommends a cream called ScarZone.

There's also a new product I've been thinking of trying called Kelocote.

Retin A. But I think in the US you need a prescription for it.

Scarguard works extremely well on all surgical scars but you need to apply several times a day.
