thank you dave! i know i've made off pretty easy, i lost a lot of backed up/original data from a few storage boxes that were destroyed but otherwise i know things could have been a lot worse for me as i saw them being for a lot of others all around me. sure, it's been stressful as all heck, but i'm alive, my dog is alive, and i have friends to help me.

i'll be surfing craigslist and i've got the paper, i'm staying with friends downtown right now, but i know there are so many others with entire families displaced even many of those able to go back to their homes either found them not their or found out they'd be without water or power for another couple weeks - i know there are a lot of GFYers in san diego, so i hope we all keep one another in mind and think positive for all the other people here and in the LA fires for as speedy as possible of a recovery.
