I used to have a Dunkin Donuts shop and I had a theory from my observations that people ween themselves off of cream and sugar more and more as they age, but lately with these crazy Starbucks drinks, everyone is throwing stuff like vanilla and shots of syrup and what not into their coffee. Changing tastes for different times I guess?

yeah, i know what you mean, but i think the only discredited ingredient that can be classified as belonging to a yuppie smart-drink aid would be the Ginko Biloba. The rest do good stuff.

One Tall cup o' coffee with amaretto & whipped cream...a glass of OJ and a tall glass of water. The rest of the day? Just water...it's too damn hot for sugary drinks here.

yes, if the whole business was about pouring the yummy coffee for customers to enjoy, Dunkin Donuts would be a great biz to have, but unfortunately everything else about it will put you in the funny farm mumbling to yourself in short order. Having to manufacture baked goods 24/7 is just not a recipe for a good life. I finally sold out and moved to Silicon Valley to start an ISP in 1994, despite the wondereful profit margins pouring coffee produce.

hmmm... this morning its milk with my apple jacks, orange juice WITH the pulp, and yierba mate' from argentina. for the rest of the day its usually water. cant stand pop.

Making tea/coffee takes too much time. One of those liquid green tea concentrates work real well for me. I just keep a jug of cold water in the fridge, and just mix a glass of decent tasting ice tea whenever I need it. :thumbsup
