Ummm, no, because this wouldn't happen is almost any other country (exclude a few such as China). That's the sad thing about the current state of the US. I know the vast majority don't agree with the current US administration, but it's gotten so fucked up now that it's at the point where nobody can do anything. The US has such a strangle hold on the population, it's really sad to see.

If basically any other government (exclude a few like China) tried pulling the same shit as the US government, well, they simply wouldn't be able too. There'd be riots all over the place, calls for imprisonment and impeachment, and there'd be a new government in place within six months.
