Newsgroup posting still producing $$$$

For my dvd site ( selling dvd's ), I haven't posted on newsgroups since quite a while ( 9 months + or so ).

Just did a small post, on topic, to ONE group of 19 vidclips og 1 meg each, along with screen captures.

Cost: $ 0.00
Time invested : 15 minutes top

Return since I did it at 3:00 PM : $ 188.43

And those are real dollars ( Canadian nes ... ).

I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

Not sure of what you ask... but here goes:

I am promoting my OWN site ... with a doorway available from the url posted in the newsgroup. This is how I know how many $$$ comes from there.

I posted in one goup ( alt.binairie.pictures.erotica.xxxxx ) that is exactly the niche of my dvd's.

whats kind of of marketing did you use (water marked video going to a free site?)
did you cross post?
which kind of content did you post?
did you put a link in the headers?

explain how did you monetatize today newgroups:-)

shit, it feels like a rendition interrogation .... some info is priviliged... My sites are my sites, that is it....

1) posted in a group ( as stated ) that is an alt.binairies.pictures.erotica group.
If it was plumpers, I would have posted in ...plumpers.....
2) watermarked videos, watermarked screencaps, promo of site such as myfuckingsite.com in the content of the article ( notice no http:// ... to avoid being cancelled )
3) NEVER cross-post . Some software allows you tio post one group at a time, automatically.
But as I stated above, I posted in a SINGLE group .
4) content was my niche content ... not just tits .... but let's suppose pregnant ( and it is not that )
5) yes, I put a link in the headers, in the form of :
Subject- type of vidclips & screencaps - subject_myurl.com_8.wmv

that should answer pretty much ...

Its a good thing you mentioned it's your OWN site, because no progarm would allow affiliates to do that.

That is the best way to get you into trouble with your ISP, do a google
search on what happenes to newsgroup abusers.

IF you are indeed making money this way why are you posting here? what is your motivation?

I posted ON TOPIC videoclips with a watermarked url ... pertinent to the actual group and users of the group ...

it's almost like taking the time to make a well thought out, custom blog post and then posting it on your blog... takes time, is not necessarily done to more than 1 blog at a time... and is usually done manually

Agent was the shit! I think that was one of the first pieces of software that I ever purchased. I actually called them up to get a registration number because I was pissed off at an old mom and pop isp and they gave me the code to unlock the software over the phone.
