Difference between scgi-bin and cgi-bin
Does anybody know why certian scripts wont work when using scgi-bin instead of cgi-bin, they are basically the same arnt they, the scgi-bin is just a secure bin, Does anybody know a way round this.

CGIWrap uses scgi-bin, which makes the CGI run as your own user rather than the webserver, effectively giving permission to your FTP account instead of the webserver.
You need to change the ownership and permissions for your files to be written to by the webserver if things outside of 'scgi-bin' will be writing to them.

So if i create an scgi-bin using the cgi wrapper and i want to install a script using scgi-bin can i move the scgi-bin directory from the " /home/userid/public_html/scgi-bin" into another directory then execute the script, would it work or does the scgi-bin have to stay in the /home/userid/public_html directory
