While Nas' Illmatic is a better all around album than any Eminem album (because it's one of the few rap albums that is good all the way thru), I think Eminem's a better lyricist (on his older stuff, when he was hungry and busting out). It's just pesonal taste and subjective. Em's voice can hurt my ears though as it's a tad nasaly like somebody else said.

Eminem has a better flow, but Nas is more lyrical. However Nas is a flip flop on what he stands for.

Recently Jay Z said that the person he would battle in a Super Power showdown would be Eminem .....he respects him alot and considers him a friend.
He made that comment after hearing Timbaland say that he would take on his mentor Dr Dre for the #1 spot.

One of the rappers that Eminem admires most is actually Mase .....he loves his delivery style and thinks he is an amazing MC.

I like Eminem's songs a million times more than most of Nas. But I have to say lyrically Nas is slicker.

I'm not much for rap music, but I'll buy a rap cd from time to time and in most cases, the one good song I hear is the only good song on the whole cd, EXCEPT for Eminem, his cds are always great. I'll admit the last couple have gone downhill, but they're still better than most rap out there.

Dont know who these people are. Cnn has some story on now about some guy named "T.I." that I also never heard of except on cnn.
