we call it "Lack" - which would translate to "enamel varnish" - which is not exactly what i can use for that - lol

That is commonly know as a bin liner (black rubbish bag) over here in the UK

I would go for PVC

Actually it is a vinyl skirt. I used to be heavy into the goth thing and I still have a pair of vinyl pants...

Yeah you are right people call them vinyl or pvc I would use both of them in a description have a look on google and see which is the most popular
