    Want Free Gas?!

Just block the credit card Satellite Signal being sent out by the gas station!!

Over 3000 gallons of gas were stolen from a BP gas station, by thieves that blocked the satellite signal that sends out the credit card information. So people would swipe there card and the gas would be pumped but the money would never be charged to the CC! People are definitely getting high-tech when it comes to stealing at the pumps lol

"We need to find how they accomplished this," said Kolp, who suspects some people knew they were stealing gasoline while others possibly didn't. It is possible people believed they were paying by credit card not realizing gas sales weren't charged to their accounts, Kolp said.
Nice one for the people that filled up and never got charged!!

Thats pretty smart. I am sure the other customers who happened to use that station while the signal was down were not complaining.

Actually, the more I think about it, thats a really stupid design on the system. No caching when the link to the mainframe is down? Awfully damn stupid, if you ask me.
