I like to play devils advocate in any argument because there are usually good points on both sides. But on this one I am going to have to side with Ray on. Lets look at some rational thinking here.

Are most Americans immigrants?
Yes. I know my ancestors were, I am Irish and we were not very well liked back in the day either. But, once all the wars were fought and our Government set up, thats it. How can I or any other nationality who became a legalized citizen within the US by means of our forefathers claim any responsibilty for how our government was set up. As far as the Native Americans go, I truly feel for these people. If any race in the US ever got the fucking of a life time it was them. Of course they do, as long as their government allows them to or they are able to get Green Cards or Visas. If they want to be in this country then follow the laws and procedures to become a citizen instead of hiding from INS and sucking up our resources. You wouldn't bring a stranger into your home and allow him to indefinitely invade your way of life or eat all your food or use your stuff as their own, or try to change the language you speak would you? I have no problem whatsoever with Immigrants who want to become a citizen of the US, just do it the right way. If you cant or aren't willing to, well, you just need to go back to your own country.

The last thing that really burns my ass, is almost every store I go into now all I hear is Spanish announcements and very few English. This is fucking bullshit. I dont mind them but when they dominate English there is a big problem and it leads right back to the illegal immigrant situation. If I ever moved to another country I sure as fuck wouldn't expect them to cater to my language needs, I am going to learn the language to fit into their country not try to fucking change it. It is ludicrious! I think it shows a lack of respect to the country your trying to make a home out of.

Does that mean I think other nationalities should speak only english? Of course not, but at least fucking learn it so when I go into my neighborhood store, I, the one who fucking lives here, knows what is being said or offered let alone trying to make a purchase with someone who cant friggin understand me. My great grand father jumped ship to live in america illegally.He was cook on a ship that came to america. My wifes great grand parents are german too,they were married in america.Their marriage license is in german. Also people didnt run to learn english thats why they lived in neighborhoods and it was all their own.Its the same old song.

I agree to a point. The laws are now made to favor large corps to only get bigger. They run everything now and just need slave labour. Look at how many family farms there are now. Family farms used to hire good workers and kept them for years. Now corporate farms just care about the bottom line and not quality. Look at all the fucking recalls of food products.

Good post. My father worked for a company 30 plus years. The management ran the company into the ground after the founder died. Huge layoffs and he was in his 60's and had to go to school for training, then couldn't get a job because he was a white male.

They don't expect us to learn Spanish and English isn't "our" language. America doesn't have an official language. Many states have already printed documents in Spanish and other Languages. The speed limit signs in S. Az are in Km, but the entire country should be that way.

And most construction jobs are based on skill. You can go to many number of job sites and find White workers, you can find workers of every color, age and country, even women. The people who built our house, the cabinet guys were German, hell the Carpet guy was a big fat smelly white guy. Many weren't Mexican and I live in Arizona.

I'm sure some Illegal Mexicans in some parts of the country make it hard for other people trying to work those same jobs. Let's say you have 10 kids in a class and 3 don't speak english. They have to spend a hour a day trying to teach these 3 kids english. Is it fair to the other 7 kids who are english speaking americans, whose parents are paying the taxes for the school in the first place, to have to sit for 5 hours a week doing nothing so that some illegals kids can learn to speak english as a second language?

So I hired this cleaning service, cost $200-$300 to clean our house. A few ladies show up, 4 hours later it's done. This is what the average "white" house cleaner chargers.

Then I hired a Mexican, since my 3 year old goes to public pre-school, he can speak Spanish, so he talks to her for me. The nice Mexican lady charges $70, cleans the entire house in 2 hours, and does it 100000000 times better.
