    What's better nowadays, LCD tv or Plasma?

    neighbor's dumb 3 year old whipped a coaster at my LCD time to get a new tv.

    When I was shopping a couple years ago, everyone was telling me to go with an LCD, is that still the better option? Which one lasts longer LCD or Plasma?

                          i think lcd is clearly better, but the plasma people have done a better marketing job..
