I've been pulling the grave yard shift from 3pm-6am for about a month, I was off of it for the summer but now it looks like I'm back on. Every time I start a new project it fucks my sleeping schedule big time, It's like I don't want to sleep untill the project is finished.

Yeah,I'm the same way, I went most of the summer on a good schedule, even waking up early to work out, but then about 3 huge development projects came along one after another and I was up till 5 am every night for weeks on end.... It really screws with your brain during the day.
But I love it anyway - I wouldnt' have it any other way. I love getting so focused on something that I can crank it like that.

It varies by season. I work more in the winter, or colder months. But I am also the same when working on new projects, or websites, I do not want to sleep and will be back to 7 days a week, 18 hour days.

Did 9am->4am last night and back in the office. My eyes are beyond bloodshot and I look like death atm. Usually 9am->5pm, but due to server stuff, times can be extended.Comment

For me it varies mostly with how much more "non-standard" work there is, meaning as soon as any new idea is being put to life... I get nocturnal automatically lol
