My nextel contract just expired as well. I was looking at the new hybrid sprint/nextel phones that can bounce back and forth between both networks.

I havn't had a sprint contract for like 3-4 years. Everytime they tell me they can save me $10 by setting up a contract i tell them to screw off.
Either way I really like sprints datanetwork if you are going to use a pda phone or use your phone as a wireless internet. The unlimited data is only $5-$15 depending on what deal you can get

I'm on Sprint SERO plan. I love having a data connection with me wherever I go. And I don't think you can find a better deal with any other carrier.
