I love conspiracies - the difference is they have to make sense - this one doesn't - and there is no evidence to support it - just people that apparently don't get that just cause you can't see a plane in the two or three pics you see on some website - that doesn't mean it wasn't there.

I have seen pics of plane parts - AND ALL BUT ONE OF THE BODIES has been identified. How did they get there. All a conspiracy? How did they get all these people to buy into this conspiracy? Don't you think the rescue workers would wonder where the plane is? They don't have to, because THEY SAW IT.

All questions (that have answers - you just refuse to believe it) and not ONE PIECE of evidence.

There is a conspiracy theory about everything. You NEVER have someone famous get kill or something important happen and everyone say - "yep looks like it was an accident - what a shame"

You have posted a lot of smoke and mirrors that would be quite convincing for someone predisposed to believe in conspiracies, but, imho, not by anyone with an open mind. I read them - rather I skimmed them (by the way, the newsmax links have been discovered and terminated - they are coming up 404 for me). and I found hints, innuendo, and outright fantasies.

Which conspiracy do you believe, by the way? There were two distinct ones outlined in your material. One is that the U.S. government did the attack itself. The other is that our intelligence failures allowed the attacks to occur.

I have read over many such lists of "references" for theories on Pearl Harbor, the Bay of Pigs, school desegregation and the civil rights movement, the assinations of JFK, MLK, RFK, the moon landings, Kent State, Watergate, the attempted assination of Reagan, the death of Princess Di, the "Bill Clinton is a Moscow-Train Communist" school, gawdamitey, I gotta quit - I've read far too much of this shit myself. I think there is a formula more patent than a Tom Clancy novel or Rocky Movie for these things. Warnings from other countries, special U.S. agents in jail in foreign countries, obscure aids to famous people who know everything, secret documents ...

All of the sites that you sent me to would have been far better reading back in the day when I smoked pot. As it stands, mind altered only by my last cup of coffee for the day - it's shit, and not very good shit either. Some of it is serious reporting, most of it is paranoid delusions. I personally think it means NOTHING.

Have you guys actually ever seen how big the pentagon is? Its like the little man looks like he has a big pecker. Your not going to get a clear shot of a plane on video on a time lapse video recorder(chances are just to low) And I have a relative that was there that day. A plane did hit that builing. Some of the things in this article make sense. Some don't. The foriegn news thing that says as many as eight highjackings, uninformed media. I recorded as many TV channels for three days as I possibly could. One thing I found internesting is how many bombs were going off all over the place acording to the media. Such as the car bomb outside the state building? It was dismissed and never talked of. And also the people at the Pentagon were informed that another plane was going to over Washington D.C. and everyone was to take cover. The plane never showed up. I do find it very interesting that the plane that was taken down by the passengers had debris scattered over 7 miles. If that is true then one thing makes sense to me. The guy that was on the phone with the lady that had the same name as his wife. The lady that he was on the phone with said she heard a struggle and then nothing all of a sudden. Leading me to believe that the phone had been damaged but not to the extent to cut off the connection. Blah Blah Blah. I could talk forever but I am tired and unoganized and not making any sense to myself.

I am on the same boat as you. I too, have read all of the same conspiracy theories that you have read. Any time there is an event of note, the conspiracy theorists go to work and publish their books, articles, papers, etc. I read most of their theories. I enjoy good fiction, unfortunately some of it is quite bad fiction, but even good fiction, still is fiction.
Well I would like to stay and play on the board today, but I have to go out of town. My back is pretty much back to normal, my mom went to stay with my brother for a few days, so I have some business to catch up on. I don't fly anymore (no not because of 9/11), but because of my back. I cannot sit for long periods of time, so I travel in my motor home. Usually I have a driver but not today. I can pull over if I have too, and I have too, and stretch my self. I hit all of the rest stops and walk around a bit. It takes forever for me to get somewhere.

One problem I see with Dewey's arguments is that he thinks fighter aircraft should be flying at Mach 3+ over populated areas - a major metropolitan centre, no less. That's dangerous for all the people on the ground.
