Steinbrenner says Torre is out if they don't win this series at Cleveland. Doesn't look like they're going to.

Who do you think takes his place next year?
Joe Girardi? Maybe promote Don Mattingly? Or someone else?

Growing up Don Mattingly was my god, and I didn't even play baseball. It's been my opinion that he's being groomed for the job, so if it's not still Torre next year I think Donnie Baseball will be managing.

I think you're right. Larry Bowa? Not likely. Gator? Not likely. I guess there's a possibility they could push for Girardi but that would be a snub to Mattingly.
