Take a trip to local hospital and ask for “burn unit” .. go there and see if you have balls to tell those people how fucked up your life is just because your girlfriend of 10 month kicked you to curb.

Sleep or work out

Assorted tricks:

Pick up an oxygen tank, pressure regulator, and a mask. Makes you feel fine quick. Use alone or with other tactics.

Small hands on hobbies like banzai or miniatures painting.

Clean up around yourself or some area that has been neglected.

Any gardening in general

listen to good music. This, of course, means not listening to ANYTHING on MTV

Exercise! i play rugby and that really makes me feel on top of the world.

I go weightlifting on thursday, fieldtraining on wednesday and friday.

On sunday I play the competition match. Your mind is on one thing only. RUGBY! Adrenaline! All problems are gone for 80 minutes. And when I'm done, I'm better able to deal with my shit than before the match.

My body is pretty banged up now, but it's well worth it. Nothing better that tackling your opponent on full speed.

I am going thru that now... Just lost my grandmother and going thru some other tough shit right now... I will try the exercise thing.. I did stop smoking except just before bed to calm the brain... During the day I have buried myself in work to keep my mind busy...

I remember it going something like "walk down the tracks not across them"

might have it reversed though

Oh, and don't fuck around on a treadmill indoors or anything - get out in the fresh air.

:pimp:pimp

Getting out from your every day norm is the main key. I just took a 6 week bootcamp just to get me to workout, it works. We are glued to these computers and sometimes you just have to get out and get some fresh air.

Do something you haven't done, go camping, fishing, turn off your computer for a day, it's really hard but it works. Hang in there, it's tough but you will overcome it. :thumbsup

I write my feelings on a paper sheet to understand what problem is the cause of my depression then I work to solve that problem instead of trying to forget it.
