Aaron,
I would like to take a second to respond here. First, it wasn't MY party and that is something I would NEVER say. Second I am mortified if I stepped on a ladies foot (ESPECIALLY IF WEARING MANOLO'S or UGG's), ask any of the Fantastic Women whom I love and adore and work with every day in this industry and let them tell you how I treat the ladies. I do remember having to bring drinks across the room and was going back and forth to collect an order of several drinks carrying them 3 at a time, so it is entirely possible please forgive me I am not a waiter and in the dark maneuvering those stairs was a bit tough. So if I stepped on your lady friends Manolo I apologize. If you were offended you should have said hey dude watch your step. Also you could have emailed me to talk about what happened, in the future why don't you try that as I hardly come on these boards. But Honestly, I have to say I have no memory of this! BUT, it was a crowded venue and there were a lot of people! So I apologize if you were made to feel unappreciated.

Morgan, Tim, Douglas and the whole gang rock. It sucks you attended their party and got a bad impression. Whether you are gay, straight, or an alien the gay parties are a great place to party and you don't have to worry about guys picking up your girl hehe. ;)

I dont know these cybersocket peeps, but I can relate to where Aaron is coming from here. Im sure these guys are top notch classy guys and all that shit.

But shows in general havent been doing it for me for this very reason. If its not this party or this person its another. The gatherings have lost that luster they once had in the day.

Drunk sponsors and frat boy mentality at the gatherings, one can only take so much. Thats why I only go once a year now days to a show. I just cant handle it anymore.

I know where Aaron is coming from and can relate. Noting we can do to fix it. Its just the nature of gatherings now days. I dont take it personal, I just choose not to go anymore.

Douglas

So basically you are calling me a liar and responding to stepping on my girls foot when I clearly stated that you had stepped on mine.

Thanks for caring enough to pay attention to what my complaints were before responding to them. <-----That's called sarcasm.

You would have been better off had you left the responses up to Morgan and Tom.

I'll be sure to follow this reply with an email telling you to fuck off so that you receive it. You know...Since you hardly come on the boards and all.

This is worse than Zoe's Snubbing of Eros!

ZOMGZ!

This kinda thing is pretty common. When people throw a party, they think they own the place and can do what they like.

You really should of said something to him right there and then.

Off topic:
Aaron, have you put the pics you shot online anywhere? You took some ones of me on the boat i'd like to see.

You're just mad because every party you go to people see the jacket and dress shirt assume you are a waiter.

Thank you.

I just thought you were busy. Sorry if that came off as rude.

I did have an issue with my email last week. :(

Love you, S.

Hahahaha. Boneprone that's what you get for being so Euro-Asian looking. Imagine how I feel, being white everyone assumes I am a pizza delivery boy.

I think the smart mature, and reasonable thing that should have been done is to contact Douglas directly.
Draging a good persons name throught the mud on a board is the weakest thing you can do, and shows a complete lack of ethics.

Douglas is a good friend of mine, and has always bent over backwards to make me happy and comfortable at all of the Cybersocket events.
I wish more people in the inudstry treated their clients like he does.

Wow.

First up, you seem upset because you weren't seen to be *important* at this event. People weren't bowing down to the great AaronM.

The guy apologises and gives you an explanation as to what may have happened and you then begin on the insults. Did you mention something about being professional earlier in the thread?

Biggy 10-09-2007 04:28 PM

can I ask how many free drinks you and your girl did end up getting that night from the Cybersocket party?

High Plains Drifter 10-09-2007 04:42 PM

The best thing to do when somebody steps on your foot at a party is to NOT SAY ANYTHING and wait a week and post it on a messageboard.

Morgan Sommer 10-09-2007 04:54 PM

Chivalry?

Honor is the foundational and guiding principle of chivalry. Thus, for the knight, honor would be one of the guides of action.

NikKay 10-10-2007 08:21 AM

Morgan and Tim are among the top notch in this industry not to mention extremely caring and thoughtful people. The (perceived) actions of one of their employees should not be posted on a webmaster board as a reflection of their entire company. IMHO.

Team Morgan!

Doctor Dre 10-10-2007 08:41 AM

So many nut huggers in this thread. Tim and Morgan are probably profetional people, but when an employe fuck up, you are the one ultimatly responsible for it.

And Douglas reply sure shows how little he cares. He sounds very narcissistic.

xxxjay 10-10-2007 08:55 AM

LOL...I thought you were pissed because Tim and Morgan tried to hit on you or something!

They never try to hit on me! What am I, chopped liver?

Alll jokes aside, those guys are great people...don't let one person spoil a company for you. Tim and Morgan are top notch.

Its not being important its common courtesy. Also his letter doesnt read like an apology maybe he is trying too hard to be charming when an oops im sorry would of done much better. I follow the rule I was taught early in my work career any business event no liquor. For two reasons one dont want to be seen sloppy and two if they is a chance for doing a dealing dont want to be too fucked up to see it.

I'm a big fan of Aaron, Tim and Morgan but don't know if I ever met Douglas...

I think we should settle this with a jello wrestling match at Internext.

A fuck up? Maybe if this douglas guy threw up all over aaron his "girlfriend" it woudl have been a fuck up, stepping on someones toes is not considered a fuck up when you are at a crowded bar.
