Little known facts about the O.J. Simpson murder investigation

In the course of the LAPD's "investigation", detectives had obtained samples of Simpson's and the victims' blood. This is, to say the least, not proper police procedure. When asked on the witness stand whether he'd planted any evidence to frame Simpson, LAPD Detective Mark Fuhrman invoked his Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate himself.

In 2000, a BBC investigation suggested that in their rush to prove Simpson's guilt, police had neglected a more likely suspect -- Simpson's son by his first marriage, Jason. Jason Simpson was 24 at the time of the killings, and like his father had a history of violence. The younger Simpson was a professional chef who'd previously brandished knives when enraged. He was on anger-suppression meds at the time, and his alibi for the night in question -- that he was working -- was challenged by co-workers. Also, according to BBC's reporters, Nicole had said she thought Jason Simpson was stalking her.

They did it together. OJ set it up and Jason cut their throats. Thats why the glove didn't fit, it was Jasons glove. I demand a retrial! Or I just don't really care, OJ is already fucked anyways. Now he doesn't even have a Rolex.....might as well kill himself.

Doesn't make me do anything but request a source for now.

"Some guy from the internet said such-and-such" doesn't really do a whole lot for my logic sensors...

Especially when it's the same guy that, a couple days ago, was emphatically arguing that humanity never landed on the moon, but instead used a small army of robots and satellites to fake it all.

I'm sure there's a nice documentation written up on the OJ Simpson murders by some eight year olds. Check YouTube.

anything OJ is too dated. I know he just got in more trouble but his name in the press is worthless now.

Yep, probably the ads that start out something like this:

EARN $2,000+ PER WEEK FROM YOUR HOME!
Yes, it's true, you can make thousands of dollars
a week with little or no experience! How? If you
have a computer and Internet connection, you're
all set! What do I do? It's easy!!!

I'm surprised this is just now coming out. During the trial, this seemed to be fairly common knowledge in LA although at the time I just thought it was spin. In hindsight, it would seem to explain a lot, such as how he continues to maintain his innocence and why he wrote a book called "If I Did It." If it was indeed Jason, what else would OJ do but everything he could to protect him.

I remember speculation at the time that it was Jason as well. I was a bit surprised at the reaction to that idea as well, but it just goes to show that whatever the "authorities" decide, most people think must be the truth. In light of the fact that they bungled the investigation and the prosecution, is it that shocking an idea that they might have completed the trifecta and and got the wrong person as well? A professional chef who carries knives at all times - the murder weapon determined to most likely have been a chef's knife - with his history?
