Players Ball or Rock The Ball for Internext?

Last year we did Ice Cube for the Players Ball during Internext. Then we did a Rock The Ball during the XBiz Vegas show, had Metal Skool rock the place.

Now that I'm in Players Ball / Rock The Ball mode, wanted to get some of your thoughts on which you'd rather see.

At the moment, I was thinking of doing Rock The Ball during AEE just before Internext and then the Players Ball for Internext. But I'm not committed on it yet.

If anyone is interested in locking in sponsorships, now is a good time to show some support.

Not really. But since Metal Skool was such an overwhelming hit, I'd like to bring them back and try to get some celebs to jam on stage with them.

I'd also like to try for some of the guys in Velvet Revolver to come jam.

If I did a Players Ball, we'll try to get the best we can. But it depends on who's available at the time. We did get lucky last year with Ice Cube.

I don't think you can lose either way.

All the top dawgs in the business show up regardless of what the venue is.

The players ball is THE PLACE to be in vegas. Everyone knows it.

You can walk around all nite...& say "u going 2 such & such party" & get 50 different answers or excuses. You say the players ball & the people only say one thing "of course".

The players ball is where you also meet people you didn't find time to talk to on the show floor "we'll hook up at the players ball then right?" can't count how many times I've heard/said that.

Keep doing what you do D$

That's my problem, its tough to top some of my own events!

I never thought I'd top the Snoop show we did, but then we did Ice Cube and that topped it.

But damn, unless we get Jay-Z or Eminem, it's gonna be tough to top last years.

Maybe we bring back Cube for an encore performance.

I'm trying for Luda still, we have hopes for Em to show up at least.

This will be our 10 year anniversary in Vegas for the Players Ball by the way.

It all started with the band members from Sublime and 8 sponsors who took a chance on D$.

oh look who played with Metal Skool Monday night at the Key Club in Hollyhood D$-

Who Knew Piven Was Hardcore?

Jeremy Piven may play a slimy Hollywood agent on "Entourage," but underneath that pompous exterior is a rock God. Kind of.

Piven was in the crowd at a Metal Skool concert at the Key Club in Hollywood on Monday night. When the band spotted him in the crowd, they dragged him up on stage to play drums on the AC/DC classic, "Back in Black."

And he kinda rocked it! Judge for yourself.

I meant that as the event being HOT not necessarily him being the Headliner But I appreciate your opinion.
Ice Cube obviously is the shit, Westside Connection..DOPE.
If we really want to go back, than bring bk Public Enemy on board. Slick Rick, Chubb Rock, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, MC HAMMER--> SIKE! lol Well that could be cool
Seriously though...some say 50..some say Kanye West....I say old school hip hop. Jay Z was mentioned, Jay Z obviously has skillz.
Darren check your myspace, and hit me up. If you are interested in Kanye or Jay Z .. let's talk
Pimp Pimp Hooray!

Personally I would like to see a $50 cover charge... Make the freeloaders have to give something back to get in.

Give only the MAJOR sponsors 20 passes that are fee pimp pimp hooray passes. Everyone else gets the normal pass. Or everyone else gets in if they got $50 per head. Hmm... Normal pass, $50 and buy you a hooker...

Well... $50 and the regular pass to start. Then you will have a lot less idiots and more true players!

Rockers ball was EXCELLENT. Metal Skool was great and I can help you with some other cool banks too if you want. Ralph's other band Atomic Punks is awesome too. Do players ball during AEE and Rockers ball during internext.
