Account hacked

Anyone I have abused in the last day, who I normally don't my password was hacked and the guy made a few posts from my account.

The email from the guy who hacked my account.

Hi Darkhorse,

this email is from another GFY user who have found out that
You have personal data, with which people can log in to Your
account on GFY (and possibly elsewhere too), on a cached
page from a former(?) traffic brokering service.

I have done no real harm with Your account, except having
some rather harmless fun with a few posts (check Your
subscribed threads to see).

The thread on the mess, that also caught my attention,
is right here:

I snooped Your profile for as many email adresses to You
as possible, to as much as possible ensure Your swift attention...
before someone that can be *really* dangerous to Your biz
and board+community reputation finds this out too.

The same guy would of done a few others accounts to, I doubt I am the only one this guy did it to.

I was suprised he emailed me and let me know though, gave away his info and all....

Ya it wouldn't of mattered in the slightest as my password was displayed to any and all.....

A lesson was learnt so thats something, I do feel lot worse for the guys who are getting there epass accounts emptied and all the other crap.

I was lucky it was just my gfy account as I have diff pass at most sponsors/epass and shit.

Hey man.. I was on that list too... you're gonna want to change everything associated with your nick. I've already had another one of online services compromised. Just do a google search on your nick and you'll know what I mean.. other forums, ebay,.. you fucking name it. This rivals (in scope) a lot of bullshit that's been posted here.. ie, .Ibill, Nats sales flaw, etc..

Fortunately, I had a friend online earlier and ICQ'd me about this and I had time to take some corrective actions. SOme of these other folks on that list.. Well, I do feel sorry for.

Ya mate been doing it all day, I am pretty sure 99% of my info/accounts ect ect.... are now secure.

I was lucky that my gfy password is not the same as my other main sponsor accounts and emails and shit.

I feel sorry for the ones who are getting hammered by this shit.
