Why wouldn't you setup some kind of automation to do this. Thumbnails are so small you can run a few tricks to make them look crisp, bright and polished. I use ACDSEE to just motor thru sets, ARLES WEB for just batch processing and adding in signature files.
Also you can do this server side using the imagemagik plug in for apache. Just some thoughts (and why isn't my program on your list *tear*) ;)
