Sanyo's new Xacti DMX-HD700 is one of world's smallest video cameras that can record 720p HD video. The camera weighs only 189g, is pretty compact and features a 7.1 megapixel sensor for still images.

the HD700 records to the latest MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 global standard, delivering exceptional video clarity and detail while maintaining the smallest file size possible.

it is storing the vdeo in a fairly compressed format to start with, so it isn't really any good for anything beyond using it as is.
