I shot there ( Buenos Aries ) a few time, hotels are cheap because the economy is in the shitter. Lots of girls on the game ( hookers ) some turn out to be attractive models.
If you like meat there are a ton of all you can eat barbecues huge amounts of food for around $20.00 a person. I was warned that there is a very high crime rate, but i did'nt see anything in the 2 weeks that i was there each time....

I've never been there but I do know their steak is delicious. I eat red meat very rarely but whenever I see an Argentinian steak house, I have to go.

So to visit, that's a definite up side.

Some beautiful country for sure, but dunno about how safe it is for tourists.

if you are looking for party then buenos aires (the capital city ) is the place to be! now if you are looking for a peacefull way of life then you should try somewhere else!

I have a friend who lives there and I have been threatening to immigrate there. Whenever I have finally had enough of this country, thats probably where I'll wind up. From my research, its just as safe as the US and its one of the better places to be if you can get paid (or work) in the states and then take your money there, it converts very well. They don't really kidnap gringos there anymore, but thats still an issue in northern South America. You are just as safe there as you are here, not that you are all that safe here...
