I finally got the phone I wanted: Nokia N95 (pics)

I love it. It has everything; 5mp camera, Wlan and Gps. And it's sexy with a big screen.

Anyone else have the n95?

I admit that I'd like the iphone, but since it only has a 2mp camera, and is NOT avalible yet in Norway, the choice was easy!

I just ordered the N82, originaly wanted the N95 8GB but since i dont have need for a mp3 player and dont realy like the slide design I went for the N82.
Specs are much the same as on the N95 GPS, HSDPA, 5mpix, Wlan and motion sensors.

Why didn't you get the updated N95 8GB? I have had the "old" N95 and now got the black N95 8GB and it's much nicer.

There isn't really a price difference here in Sweden between the two phones so wouldn't think there is one in Norway? Sorry just a little curious why you wen't with the "old" N95?

you should have waited and got the black one, it has a slightly bigger screen, but most important is that it has a new battery increasing the battery life as the original n95 runs out fast. It's a nice phone though, i'm getting the black one around the 18th jan.

I don't think i'd get a phone that fancy...I tend to drop them too much. Besides, I'm sure i look like way less of a nerd with my k750i then talking on that jumbo thing :P

the phone is very good indeed, but I'd rather get iphone! I love mine! 2mp camera but great, from Feb the official 3rd party apps will be available and the new firmware 1.1.3 introduces gps over google maps as well, so all in all IMO i'd go for iPhone, altho N95 is amazing too!

nice, but for taking photos i have a nikon camera, for movies a jvc camcoder, for sms/phone a nokia and for navigation a hp pda. i hate it to have my pocket full of some heavy phone with millions of functions that i don't need all the time.

yes it's a nice phone, but the last time i checked tomtom did not work with the embedded gps, rendering the phone useless for me. and i don't like symbian too. still n95 is way better than iphone imo.

btw i have this one - htc kaiser and love it! it's more a pda than a phone though

True... I really wanted the black one, but it was twice the price! 1000$ is too much to spend on a phone. I payed 500$ for mine...

The N82 is also great but doesnt work in Brazil.

Nokia makes the best cell phones I have ever used. Have not had one in some time but the last one I had in 2002 has a 8 hour talk time battery and the phone was small as hell.

Eitherway it's a great phone! You should try and order stuff from Sweden, I think it would be a lot cheaper. I'm sure a lot of the stores deliver to Norway.

some one said they are soon to make a cellphone that actually runs full windows not windows mobile.

Anyone know how soon or if it is reality at all? I've not used windows mobile 6 or even 5 for that matter. How similar is it to real windows? can you like have ftp on it or even some html editor to make emergency changes to webpages.

Sometimes i'm out and i recall a small task i should have done on my pc and have to go all the way home to get it done. Would be cool to be able to just do it on the phone even though the small screen and controls would be a pain im sure.

Something like an oqo2 or even smaller and is a phone is the type of thing i mean.
