I'm not so sure about that. Kimbo is pretty young, hungry, strong and fast. Tyson's best days have long since past. He has now been knocked out a few times and it has been shown that even guys that can't hit that hard (Holyfield) can beat him.
I think it would be much closer than you might think. That said Tyson, if he trains, still has power. I think a fight between these two might come down to who got caught first.Comment

I have kimbo in an awsome TV show. He was with us at dinner taping his thoughts on Summer Haze 2 days before she went into surgery for her makeover. He was very nice an saw Summer after her surgury and was scared to touch her implant clips, He is brutal in the ring but a teddybear in person...you can see the show in January on A&EComment

Kimbo is def. a monster there's no doubt about it. I think comparing him to Tyson of now is way off though. Tyson (as much as I still love watching that guys fights), is beyond finished, and age is hardly his friend. Kimbo is young. Take Kimbo of now and Tyson of than and Tyson would crush Kimbo like he had done to so many others back in the day.
On to a more recent time, I think Kimbo is good at what he does, however I think in a Boxing Ring even someone like Hopkins would work the shit out of him, the enviornment is different.
I think because Kimbo is young he can grow and get better at an excellent pace, I think if you put him in a Boxing Ring against some of the current higher talents he would be picked apart, become frustrated, than gassed than be an easy target. Put him in an MMA ring (and not against a washed up old time boxer) and again I think he would get worked, either dragged to the ground and tapped, or mounted and destroyed, a head kick or a knee to a guy that isnt use to that stuff can be devistating.Comment

You guys are crazy. Kimbo wouldn't stand with an over the hill Ray Mercer but he'd destroy Tyson, lmao!!! Kimbo has never shown great boxing skills nor has he shown tremendous power. Yeah he looks somewhat dominant fighting out of shape couch potatoes but lets be real. He has never fought anyone worth a damn. Mercer was the closest thing to a threat he's ever faced and he immediately went for the take down and got the choke.Comment

LOL. Kimbo wouldnt get a single win in the IFL, let alone fight Tyson in his prime, or even yet a prelim fight in the UFC. Overated.No doubt one may quote history to support any cause, as the devil quotes scripture.
