US Dollar hits a 15 year old low against a basket of currencies, the dollar lost 25% of it's value since 2002.

What was similar with 15 years ago? Oh yes: a Bush was in control

talk about 1,40 against the euro seems normal, 1,50 is talked about, when will this madness end????

for the remaining Republicans: one of your own, Alan Greenspan, calls Bush 2 a disaster, read his book.

btw: stop the "low dollar is good for exports"-line, your trade deficit is too huge, fuck... Germany has become the biggest exporter in the world, Belgium a country of only 10 million exports 1/3 of what the US exports (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ies_by_exports)

The crisis recently with Northern Rock in the UK was a warning bell that rung around the world. A lot fewer people are going to be investing in the US, a lot less are going to be bank rolling them so they can keep buying goods they don't pay for or when they do pay the value is not what it should be.

Hard times ahead for the US.

How does this effect us?

Maybe, more people to submit more galleries to less surfers who can afford to buy?

The US desperately needs someone in charge of the country with an IQ above that of a cowpoke, problem is the cowpokes are the ones who vote. As for Greenspan, so nice of him to speak up now.

Maybe if the US had people more interested in the good of the nation/world, what's right and moral and less people only concerned in keeping their job and writing their memoirs, in charge we would not be in this mess. He said nothing when we needed him too.

Yes its hurting, but many porn programs are billing in euros and I have to be honest and say there is little difference in conversions. I kinda saw the writing on the wall and made the decision to launch our program a few years ago and bill in Euros and boy am I glad we did that. I think you will see more and more doing it as the dollar continues to lose ground.

that's correct the US used to be number 1 in everything during the 1950s, why?
--> FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt) who implemented the New Deal, the creation of the middle class.

Problem is that in the current US political scene, Roosevelt would be labeled a communist or at least a socialist.

What Americans always seem to forget is that "democracy" created the middle class and not "capitalism", in 1905 capitalism was thriving, but there were food lines and normal people were poor. It's only when normal people and some political leaders started demanding their share that they got out of poverty.
