So Baddog and I get busted for Speeding coming back from Mexico
on the Mexican side, five minutes from the border. A cop pulls us over and tells Baddog that he was going too fast and its going to cost $140 US as a fine and please follow him back to the police station it will take about 20 mins.
First of all we were maybe about 6 miles over limit, so it was all a bullshit shakedown.
So I interject, telling the cop we are in a hurry to get to the airport, can we just pay him and he can submit it. I also say, hey we been here for a few days, we dont have too much money left and have to buy gas as well.
In the end we bargained him down to $110 and he says OK, I'll do it, but cant give you a receipt.
I'm chuckling to my self, fucking bastard starting his day off right, making a buck ten, this is like 7 am in the morning.
He must be making a killing there. Followed us for a bit then fucked off, probably bragging to his corrupt amigos, about fucking a couple of gringos over
