from my experience (not with h anyway) I know that everything you tried and you liked it, it's big chance of repeating it :)
maybe tomorrow, maybe month later, year, but ppl like to repeat pleasures...
but of course you can try h for example and find no pleasure in it worth repeating ...or not :)

Heroin is for fuckin losers...end of story...if you want to be a lsoer and have a weak mind then go for it...but business and making money has no room for addicts.

I know 5 people that have tried it only two were able to stop within the first few times. out of the other 3 one has only been clean for a little over a year after 4-5 time in treatment. one is still doing it ( could be dead for all i know I haven't spoken to him in over 2 years. the other died a few years back from an OD. I'll never even try it. its just not worth the risk .

Agree. Also of the opinion that anyone who buys/uses drugs are not just causing possible harm to themselves, but playing stupid games where the "down-the-line" effect, not only harms the user, but also creates many problems for relatively innocent people at the start of the supply chain and enables evil and amoral assholes to indulge in their greed and power fantasies. If ya want to be "owned" - this is a classic example.

A face-to-face meet with one of these lumps of human waste will probably cure any addiction in ten minutes - it's like having a chat with a biological hot agent with the power to liquify your organs and have you spewing and excreting intestines. Nice people.

You can be categorical and outright prejudicial against someone who would try heroine, but it depends on the kind of social context, direct environment and general background the person comes from.

ANd yeah I've known people who tried heroin once or twice no more and even though they might have been big booze hounds or could snort away an ounce of blow once a week, they never went back to it.

It's too "powerful" or heavy or something. I never would try it just from hearing those guys talk about it.

I snorted a few lines once, in 1983. I was already pretty blasted when I did it. I got sick as a dog, seriously barfing in the gutter in the E village, but I enjoyed a happy euphoria for the next several hours. Fortunately, I never had an opportunity to do that again.

As an aside, I am always astonished at the moralizing that goes on in these kinds of threads. This is an adult webmaster board for god's sake! We are all moral relativists here. I recall some foolish (married) webmaster who was cheating on his wife with call girls asked for advice and was torn to pieces.

i saw 2 friends going down the shitter - enough for me. i tried speed for some time and i know that i would become addicted easily. so i stay away from this shit. i rather spend that money on more fun things

A friend of mine used to do heroine every once in awhile. He got it for free from a dealer he knew. Only smoked it; never got addicted.
