Need suggestions - how to monetize adult movies best.

Hello,

I am a newbie in the adult world, and would need some suggestions from more experienced guys.

I am working online mostly (in another niche, not webmaster), and I have little website development knowledge.

Together with my 3 best friends who are all working at a TV station (I formerly worked there too) we thought that we could turn our talent into more positive thing and shoot some adult movies.

technically we have talent, we have TV equipment, and we even have amateurs that would want to join us in shooting an adult movie.

My question is: what is the best way for me (with little webmaster knowledge) to monetize these movies.
- Should I start my own website? And jump in the adult webmaster world? The cons are that this would take some time, and that the competition is really high as I see. Is it rewarding
- Should I sell the copyright of the movie to a webmaster? Are they looking for unique content? And how much do they usually pay?
- Should I focus myself on selling the movie to some production companies?
- Should I just abandon the idea, as it is not worth it?

Are original movies on demand?

Thanks for any kind of help.

Alex

If it's what you like to do then it's worth it.

But, I'm sure there's other things you can do with your time.

I'm not being sarcastic... I'm just being honest. If you really want to do it then it's not rocket science. Shoot about 20 scenes and hire www.adultdesign.com to make your site. Learn all you can about promotion from reading the boards. If the content is incredible then you may make some money.

Thank you for your reply.

Well, I would like to do it. because I feel I can do the movie part. Wehave a director (even if not movie director), the best operator, and I think I would need to promote it.

Because I have some little webmaster knowledge (I am mainly a domainer, but occasionally develop some sites), I know how hard is to penetrate in a market like the adult one, where I see a lot of competition.

So it would be very hard to market a site. I would prefer to sell the rights on the movies to some experienced webmasters or producers. It would be the "easy way" for me.

But I don't know if there is demand for this? Do people need original content, or it is not that important?

Thanks,

alex

Thanks for the reply.

A silly question: How to find webmasters? Should I cold email them, or should I search for them on forums like this?

I think I will try to find one, but how to find one that is reliable?

Thanks, Alex
