Why is House Music so "Gay" sounding ?!?

Okay, enough is enough....I've tried House Music, and have come to the conclusion that it sucks. Not because its horrible music or anything, but the "lyrics" and "breaks" are usually created for gay men and gay men only.

Deep distorted mens voices saying shit like "Welcome to the Pleasure Dome" and "Move Your Body" and "Feel the Music"

I see no problem with having music that appeals to gay-culture. But puh-leeeeeese... can we just come to an agreement that House is not for straight men?

I see these motherfuckin' "tough guys" driving around the city in their tricked out imports blasting this house shit and I'll I can do is laugh at the impression these fellas are making. Is it for chicks? Is it for Dudes? WTF?!?

Im talking about the shit ya hear on http://www.shoutcast.com/sbin/shoutc...e=filename.pls

. "Lyrics" in house music huh? I don't know you but I can say you're pretty stupid on this subject. There are NO lyrics in house music. Any words you might here are SAMPLES. Do you know what digital sampling is?

Notice that I used "lyrics" with quotations. DO you know what satire and sarcasm is? I can show you, but that would require you getting your GED first as these are some pretty advanced subjects

I love house...especially Deep House...none of that crap ya here on your local pop radio station. The good original House muic that came outta Chicago (Where House music originated from BTW). And I'm far from a flammer...but that kinda music is HUGE in the gay culture. I used to go to "Gay Nights" at some of the clubs just for the music...and the woimen w/ their guard down.

I saw Sasha and Digweed last spring I think it was. Pretty good for $30. Pretty good show...of course, I got too stupidly drunk to appreciate it I think.

Oh well.

Here's my
I honestly do not like house music...too slow and boring.
I am a huge fan of electronic music, i even do some producing.
When i listen to electronica i want to dance and bounce, for some reason house doesn't do that for me. Hard/Progressive House, a little better. Breaks is where my heart goes.
And as you all say Sasha and Digweed and so on are so amazing.
They all suck for the reason that their shitty dj's, but they play wicked tracks that for the most part aren't theirs.
A good dj slices and dices, fucks the tracks up and gets the crowd going(ever see Mark EG...infuknsane(he breaks turntables and records over his head!)...these guys don't. Ever heard Oakenfold live...i have...shitty dj. Shit i can put two tracks together on my tables as well. DOn't get me wrong though Oakie produces some amazing tracks.
Good producers can't spin and good dj's are poor producers.
With the odd excpetions.

I like it when one song ends.... and the DJ fades it into the next song. That is cool.

I couldnt imagine a DJ breaking a record over his head at the same time... that would take amazing talent.

Yeah he's insane...he does requires a lot of drugs to play for you, which makes him so energetic. I had a friend bring him out last year, again...he's a crowd pleaser.

If you think it's gay then why be on the thread. I think you secretly dig house music, like most heterosexual men love da dick.

ill tell you why house is gay.

If you listen to house, especially the base and mini little guitar riffs they THrough in sometimes, u can make a very obvious recognition regarding its roots:

disco

House originated from the disco scene that was going on a long time ago...Now the disco scene was populated mainly by a bunch of fags
e.g. the villiage people (dear god)

so its pretty obvious that when ur roots come from a bunch of homos... Ur gonna sound gay.

Instead of listening to house music, download these tracks:

Human Evolution - Human Evolution (Original Mix)
Way Out West Feat Tricia Lee Kelshall - Mindcircus (Gabriel And Dresden Radio Edit)
Murphy Brown & Nu-NRG - Aloa P (Mr Pink Mix)
Gouryella - Ligaya (Original Mix)
DJ Kim - Get Ready to Explode (Original Mix)

and anything by, tiesto, paul van dyk, and ferry corsten

Dont bother with sasha and digweed... those guys put comatose people to sleep.

I have seen them spin a few times live and they just as GAY as their CDs.
