Nah I rarely use affiliates just out of ROI on some sites, because affiliates are damn expensive. So the affiliate excuse can be dismissed.
true but I think he would link us to it no? I'm curious because I have yet to even shoot enough content to launch a paysite and am struggling with my TGP's as it is :p
yeah I think this calls for shenanigans or he would want us to be affiliates
Affiliates are a pane in the ass.. They want, want, want and then want some more. If I ran a small program or a single site program I'd do invite only in regards to affiliates.
It's easy enough to do your own promotion and keep most of the money by just hiring people to do gallery submitting and so on.
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.
Why do so many find this hard to believe? With the right mix of promotion, it's not a far off target. Hell..One could do this with a personal submitter, a mix of niche specific partner accounts and some viral clips.

If you had a paysite that turned $5000 profit in its first week, would you want affiliates sending out galleries all over the net? I know I wouldn't. I'd want to stick to my own advertising methods and keep the sales coming to me personally for as long as possible. Why pay someone 60% of the sales when you can keep all 100% yourself?

I agree. I have several paysites that I will be opening over the coming weeks and have no intention of offering an *affiliate program* at this stage.
