Here is a long article about bonds. It's interesting but like I said it's long.

Just read a story about his memorablia here in Phoenix, the shop owners can't give away Bonds' jerseys, etc.

I say $500 for his ball.

Bidding for #752 went to $13,300, but didn't meet the reserve.

http://cgi.ebay.com/BARRY-BONDS-HOME...QQcmdZViewItem

The record breaking ball will likely hit $750k-1M.

how much does it cost to make the ball? Take that, add a 30% mark up, and that's its value to me.

I'm gussing it will be worth around $75,000. It's the steroids era and he has been the best player in that era. I personally can't stand the guy but it does take more then strength to hit a ball. He was a HOF before the roids and one after.

Obviously you have no idea who Sotheby's is.

They are one of the most prestigious auction houses in the world. While more people would have seen it on eBay, we are talking about people who can't afford it. Sotheby's on the other hand has a list of qualified buyers who have made huge purchases in the past.

It's up to $225,077.00 with 4 days left.

Do you think it'll clear $500k?

we actually had the high bid when time expired but it kept running and running and running..basically it had to go 30 minutes without a bid or it would have gone on forever. when it ended at 1 pm pacific the bidding was 300k i felt at under 350 it was a steal
