That's not exactly the truth...

Dean was constanly spamming, plus whining about and bashing GFY/Adult.com/Playboy incessently - his next to last post was titled, "A Big Fuck You From Playboy.....", where he called out Lensman, the owner of GFY.

BTW, Dean admitted F-U-Jimmy into his course because he paid him $300, despite this post:

Very classy post from a wannabe professional photographer. :disgust

Here's a picture of Dean with Jaime and Chrissy Moran (who now makes a living denouncing porn):

Dean is a good photographer, but as one former employer who let him go indicated, he can get psychotic offline. While he might be quite pleasant while taking your money for his photo class, never say anything critical of him and his work, or else be ready for a stream of threatening e-mails.

Anyway, it's not up to me if Dean is allowed to return to GFY. Just trying to set the record straight (or at least provide an alternative viewpoint) as to why he was banned in the first place.

I'm not really sure where you're coming from, ADGWD. Are you checking Dean's references? Seems like you're trying to defame the guy for some ridiculous reasons :)

This is the last place on earth I figured we'd hear someone bitching about someone speaking their mind. Dean's a pretty outspoken guy, especially when there's something on his mind... but I gotta wonder, were you somehow offended?

glad it went well !! ;)

I am not so sure the objective was just to make the $300 per person attending.. there were i think 10 peeps making it a total of $3K.. Dean had 4 people there assisting and a top location. Lunch was included as was all beverages and tons of snacks etc..I doubt he made much money...
He could have made much more doing a regular shoot for one of his clients.
i think most would have been fine with paying 500 for the same, the price was definitively reasonable and well worth it.
The only issue i had was when the attendees got to shoot a few clicks of Jamie, she was not posing, just standing there.. no facial expression. But that is her, not Dean..

Ditto.. I did the math on it after the workshop and I do not think he made much at all for all the time and effort her put into the workshop. Ya have to give him some props for the willingness to take on such a full day of shooting and teaching for so little.

Also Ditto about Jaime, she just was not very open and friendly to the class there. No fault to her about it, she did give up her day also for just a few sets of pictures from Dean. So I have to still say thanks to her for that. And DAMN, how can I fault her with that great rack she has.. :winkwink:

Any shop where we can purchase this kind of glamour content? I only know matrixcontent... :/

FelixFlow 09-18-2007 08:54 PM

the workshop was cool, i learned a few things from ya dean - thanks!!

i would recommend attending any of dean's 'shops, no matter how skillful you are (or think you are)...you can never be too good that you can't learn anything, and watching a craftsman at dean at work, as well as being able to Q&A with him will really be beneficial to anyone who is serious about their photography & aspires to be very good themselves :)

it was also nice to meet everyone that was there!!!

=)

Yep.. Exactly... Her and Dean had a GREAT relationship with each other.. You can tell that by the pictures he takes of her... With the others she was just kinda there.. Which is fine since she was giving her time at that point for our sake.. I just appreciate her doing it at all for the day.
